AR Guidelines

All elementary students from First through Sixth grades will be expected to achieve their Accelerated Reading Goals for each reporting period.  The Accelerated reader goals are set according to district guidelines.  Students are expected to attain all three components of their AR goal for each reporting period:

Those students attaining all three components of their AR goal, each reporting period, will be rewarded at the end of that period.

Those who meet their goals for five or six out of the six reporting periods will receive a medal at the end of the year.
The top five readers of each class (1st-6th grade)will receive a trophy. Top three readers per class in Kinder will receive a trophy.

Star Readers (students that read one million words or more) will receive a trophy.
