PLANTS

 

root— the part of the plant that holds the plant in place

 

stem— It holds up the plant and takes water from the roots to the other parts of the plant.

 

leaf— the part of the plant that makes food for the plant

 

flower— the part of the plant that makes seeds

 

seed— The part of the plant that grows a new plant.

 

fruit— The part of the plant that holds the seeds.

 

cone-- Hold the plant’s seeds.

 

shrub— a small to medium-sized woody plant and has several main stems arising at or near the ground
